Survived Week 1

Looks like I'm on my way to a full recovery. Just completed my first week of classes with minimal issues and only skipping one class (on purpose). The only difficulty is walking around campus with a bag and textbooks. Granted, I don't need to walk long distances for my MWF classes, I still get a bit tired if I do need to sway from my path. Mainly upper body strength since I'm carrying around 5 lbs on my back at any given time.

Getting around campus has been an interesting adventure too. Finding new "shortcuts" that don't involve big hills has been a challenge. And trying to avoid stairs is also a pain. I will talk to OPD (Office for Persons with Disabilities) and see if I qualify for any of their services.

Hey Jack! My sister told me you liked my card. I'm glad :) I would've contacted you sooner, but I threw up on New Year's and had a lousy start to 2010. Nothing to worry about, just ate some bad combinations of food. But now I'm back!

The first week or two is always tough, but I'm sure you'll manage to get through with minimal casualties. 加油!
