Almost out of here.
7 weeks of rehab, but I'm finally out. This makes it officially 2.5 months under OHIP's wing. But I'm free after next Friday. To celebrate, I am going to... do nothing special. Heading back to Waterloo in midweek of 16-20, then heading back to work. Because the truth is, I'm broke. I'm desperately applying for all bursaries and loans (not so much loans) to get some monies back. My calculations were thrown off course by this emergency, I am now looking for a way to pay tuition, but I should have just enough if I get November's remaining pay and December.I hope I'm 100% in terms of functions by the end of the year. I cannot control these things but I going to find a way. Acupuncture is not an option because I don't like it, the risks far outweigh the benefits mainly because all doctors are saying I will regain the function, it just takes time.
I've reached a new milestone in Tetris, I am still 6th place (and 7th and 8th) but I have broken the 900 point mark on three occasions and now have a high score of 936.
I'm on a new cell phone plan with Fido, because I kinda text like a maniac, at least while I'm hospitalized. Unfortunately, I don't have call display with my new plan because they want $7 for it. So, unless I'm in Waterloo, I will not pick up calls from people that aren't in my address book.
Nobody has really visited me at Lyndhurst yet, the only people that kinda count are Felix and Mayur, and Jennifer Brunner. Though, her visit was coincidental because her Exercise Science class just happened to be on a field trip and in the area where I was doing my Physiotherapy. Brian tried but couldn't make it, so that leaves no official human, not blood related, that has visited me here.
