Hooray for rehab.

I'm still at rehab when my doctors said that I will be there for only 2-3 weeks. It's now my 4th week and I'm still here. Recovery has been slowed thanks to stupid headaches and whatever that follows it. I'm trying my best to work with the headaches but nothing seems to work out. Though, it looks like I'm finally cleared of the headaches, maybe just a few more ibuprofen tabs and I will try my luck. Otherwise, I am going back to Western for an MRI and hoping for the best.

I'm supposed to be making friends here, and that I have done. Though, I can safely say that most of them are dinner friends, or people that I try to bring out my mother tongue and speak it.

Which I don't like.

I do get to go home on weekends and I take full advantage of it. You will probably never see me here on a weekend wasting away valuable oxygen from the old people here. I am at home, playing games and just trying to soak back some normal life into me. I'm still waiting for the green light to try Waterloo.

The downloads in Waterloo has been lacking, and I can probably see how much I contribute to the total due to my absence. Brian has been trying, and the new roommate Katherine is supposedly a bandwidth addict, but I've yet to see proof. We're at 300GB and it's almost time to call it a month. Our normal totals are near 500GB, and we haven't dipped down this low for a year. Then again, at least we aren't capped at 60GB.

Tetris scores have been improving, getting 850+ a few times during my hospital stays. Aiming for 900 but it seems to be very tough as getting to 500-700 is a challenge. But, I'm still ranked 6th in the world, so no complaints.

I'm taking 4 courses starting in January 2010, I will be out of there by then and hopefully will be able to take those courses. Otherwise, I'm dropping to 3. My co-op term seems to be pretty much dead. The doctors here say that I will probably be here till end of November. Though, I don't want to listen to them and hoping for an early November leave. I am pretty much broke without the 2 months of pay for September/October and if they take November away, I'm pretty sure I can't pay rent and tuition without digging deep into OSAP/EI.

Overpower, that amazing card game that I can't seem to win at and can't seem to stop collecting, is nearing completion. Just 2.35% of the collection to go. Though, unless I see something huge on sale, my card buying days are over until I reach Waterloo.

Nobody has yet to really visit me at Lyndhurst...
